HOW TO FIND THE PARK
Crandall Park is located on Glen Street (State Rt. 9) on the northern border of Glens Falls.
Folks coming from the north should get off of the Northway at Exit 19, turn left onto Aviation Road and then right on to Glen St. at the second traffic light. Pass the YMCA and look for the park entrance road on your right. Parking is located in a lot off of the park entry road.
Folks coming from the south should get off of the Northway at Exit 18, turn right onto Main St., then left on to Western Ave. at the Hannaford. When Western ends, take a right on to Coolidge Ave. Travel for two blocks, take a left on to Kensington Rd., then an IMMEDIATE right back on to Coolidge. Follow Coolidge till it runs into Glen St., (Rt. 9). Take a left on to Glen St. The park will be a two blocks away on your left. Pass the pond and turn into the park entry road; parking is located in a lot off of the park entry road.
The two most important things to remember about Crandall Park:
- It’s free and open to the public from dusk to dawn every day of the year. The only exception: the lighted pickleball, tennis and basketball courts remain open to play during the summer season until 10 pm.
- It’s a carry in- carry out park. When you leave with your happy memories, please also take your trash with you! There are no trash receptacles in the park.
