Community volunteers are urgently needed! For the second year, the CPBC is reaching out to the wider community for help in physically removing harmful invasive species from the park. On three Fridays in May, representatives from the Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District will supervise volunteers in removing burning bush, bittersweet, Japanese barberry and Tartarian honeysuckle from the park’s wooded areas. These species threaten the wooded areas of the park by creating a dense understory that prevents the growth of new native trees. If you love the park and its trees, please sign up here to help!
